DURING THE MEETING, MAYOR STEINBERG RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF LOAVES AND FISHES HOW THE WIND WAS DESTROYING SOME ENCAMPMENTS. THIS IS HOW HE RESPONDED. I AM SICK OF IT. ALL OF YOU. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GRASP THAT UNTIL WE GET PEOPLE INDOORS IN MASSIV NUMBERS NONE OF THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE? NONE OF IT. Jan 27, 2021 The National Weather Service confirmed that an official tornado touched down shortly after 11:42 a.m. local time before heading east. Over 500 power outages where reported. A twin engine aircraft flipped over at the Tallahassee Airport and there was damage done to some of the private hangers. The Tallahassee International Airport was also temporarily closed for damage assessment, and no injuries were reported.
